Construction notes:
It was nice to have the most expensive parts of this costume already, i.e. the ears and wig. The costume itself wasn't too bad to make. I used a silk-essence fabric for the dress and it is lined with itself. The back has elastic so it stays up pretty much on its own even with out the halter part. I got the chance to do more jewelry work which I haven't done in years. I missed it so it was nice to apply those skills to a costume finally! On some parts of the the chains and armor pieces, I hand wrapped amethyst beads in silver wire to give it an extra sparkle. The Large stones on the necklace and earrings are Rose Quartz. The large pendant on the front is also Rose Quartz and was purchased from Ebay. The armor pieces were done out of foam and painted and aged. Even the designs on the necklace were one this way. The flower hair piece is my favorite part with the orchids and pretty beads. I did use the same technique to darken my skin as did with my last photo shoot with Pirotess. It makes a mess and is a pain to get on but I love the results.

**The Deedlit in these photos is DayDreamerNessa.
