Construction notes: The dress is made of stretch red velvet and constructed using a modified pattern. The six yards of gold trim was all hand painted as I couldn’t find anything that suited my needs. The gun belt is made of vinyl and I drafted the pattern for the holster myself. I also drafted my own pattern for boots which are just elaborate shoe covers. The lipstick whip was made from an old lip stick, dowel rod and ribbon. Gloves were purchased and altered. Wig was styled by myself and was purchased from Cosworx. The only bummer of this costume was that I purchased special lenses that were suppose to be bright yellow but do nothing but make my eyes look big and brown. Lameness. Oh well.
